Our Team

We're a diverse team with backgrounds in technology,
marketing and finance.

Alan McGee

President

Alan has a history of assembling data to tell better stories about product and customer growth. He's overseen digital marketing and analytics at multiple organizations, including at DonorsChoose.org when they were named one of Fast Company's "50 Most Innovative Companies in the World." He also volunteered in Kenya as a Kiva Fellow, spent two years as an iMentor in the NYC public school system, and is a former mechanical engineer.

Robert Walport

Product Manager

Robert was born in Blighty, growing up in London and eventually reading Physics at Oxford. He jumped across the pond for a pair of master's degrees, Journalism and Computer Science, at Columbia University before joining the team in January 2013. He previously took a brief sojourn into the arts working at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), but he had to talk to far too many people so decided software engineering was a safer pursuit.

Elizabeth Kilson

Software Engineer

Elizabeth is a recent graduate of the Cooper Union in Electrical/Computer Engineering. She has studied machine learning, cloud computing, and many aspects of software engineering. When not programming, she visits national parks to shoot wildlife (with a camera).

Bert Hartmann

Technology Lead

Bert is a software developer with a history of building stable projects with modern tools. Since graduating Rutgers with a degree in Computer Science and Linguistics, he's worked with BBH rearchitecting their accounting systems, and spent several years building MVPs for startups. In his free time he discovers and teaches new things at MakerBar, his local hackerspace.

Sean McIntyre

Interaction Designer & Software Developer

Sean is a native Texan transplanted to the frozen tundra of New York. He is a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College where he obtained the most illustrious (and only available) degree of Liberal Arts. When he's not making things for the web you might find him walking what is undoubtedly the most endearing, friendliest dog in all of Brooklyn.
